Joan and Joan, whom we first met when they came to the picnic (and who will always be remembered for their "better than sex" cake), have retired and moved to Santa Fe. They'll be happy to tell you that retirement is a lot of fun. We had lunch with them at the Cloud Cliff Bakery. | |||||||
| Shirley and Flo met more than 40 years ago, at a YMCA camp where Shirley was a counselor, and Flo a counselor in training. Their last real visit was 30 years ago, when Shirley and six-year-old Bec took a camping trip across the country to visit Flo in New Mexico.
We spent an intense day catching up, and concluded with a walk in the desert at the foot of the mountains, with her dog Buddy. |
