Greece: Feast
A rare vase painting of a women's symposium.
(We now think of a symposium as a serious-minded gathering of intellectuals. In ancient Greece, it was a cultivated drinking party. As with most of classical Greek culture, it was male.)
The gustatory highlight of the trip was a group feast at Charoula's home on Aegina.
If you are in a group that needs to plan a feast, and Shirley is among your number, you would do well to put her in charge of the menu. That is what we did.
